DON’T LET YOUR PAST ECHO YOUR FUTURE

Feel Empowered When You Go To Therapy

You Don't Have To
Do This Alone

I specialize in working with couples and women who have difficulty dealing with interpersonal conflicts. I understand conflicts occur when a particular desire is not being met. When these desires are not met they lead to disconnection and increase feelings of worthlessness.

I believe the best gift you can offer someone is to listen. I launched my mental health practice in 2018 to assist couples and adults coping with the various conflicts in their lives. As the name of my practice suggests, I view mental health on a continuum - always changing. My approach is client-centered, team-driven and culturally-sensitive. My hope is this approach will allow you to accept the complexities of your life by going towards them and by not running away. This is scary, but remember I am here to walk alongside you. I got you. There’s no population that I have not come across - and this is what sets me apart.

My practice is 100% virtual and all sessions are conducted via telehealth for those physically present in New York State.

FAQ's

Couples counseling is an effective therapy approach to improve communication with a loved one. While the goal is to achieve effective communication and understanding, you also achieve interconnectedness that leads to deeper satisfaction over a period of time.

Individual counseling is the common form of therapy utilized. The environment will be validating to your individual experience and will also challenge your norms for self-improvement. You will learn tools to achieve better accountability with yourself and others.

Money has historically been a barrier for accessing quality therapeutic services, especially for women of color. Paying for therapy is costly in New York and often marginalized groups feel it the most. It should not be this hard and it is – I get it. You will find that the established fee is modest, in comparison to therapists with similar experience, to keep therapy affordable and accessible. This is intentional with you in mind. Always.

As an out-of-network provider, this means payment will go directly towards services.

This provides therapeutic benefits to you, such as:
- Guaranteed privacy of public health information.
- Broader clinical assessments, plans and interventions.
- No middle-party, such as an insurance company, monitoring and having a say in your mental health care.

Telehealth provides time-saving benefits and reduced overhead costs that would otherwise be absorbed in the fee. Clients have the opportunity to be in their place of comfort for each session and effortlessly transition to other responsibilities when it ends. This is rewarding, especially for women on-the-go.
